The exhibition Botero dialogues with Picasso presents the work of the Colombian artist through the prism of his long relationship and his admiration for the work of Pablo Picasso, which he discovered in his youth, in the 1940s, in books then in black and white.
With Picasso, he builds his link to the history of art through common themes such as bullfighting, circus, deformation of bodies and volumes …
Although the two artists have never met, the exhibition proposes an artistic dialogue in the form of a journey through the works of Fernando Botero and Pablo Picasso.
