My role: Camera and Sound
During the late seventies, Robert Boulin, Work Minister, is a pawn amongst others in the struggle for power opposing Valéry Giscard d’Estaing to Jacques Chirac. Giscard, President, only has a short period of time before the elections. Chirac is also willing to win; therefore, he uses his Work Minister to unsettle him, before Chirac counters the attack by giving information about Boulin to the newspapers. Robert Boulin finally defends himself by threatening to reveal some embarrassing secrets. A week later, his corpse is drifting on a pond in the woods. Which side has he been sacrified by? Since this 29th October 1979, the “Boulin case” has not been solved.
