After long troubled journeys through a couple of continents Rodica Gruia and Rodica Grill made Sydney their home and each other their best friend. They are both close to 90 years old and living an incredibly active, teenager-like life divided between shopping, work, grandchildren, fitness and coffee. The granddaughter of one Rodica is the director of this intimate, character-driven documentary. RODICAS is about the lust for life, the humour and the power of two women, who could not be more different and yet similar, more extraordinary and yet ordinary at the same time.
